This is a custom format. Make sure that you have enough s’s to cover the number of seconds there will be. e.g if the format is [ss].00 and your data is 3 minutes, then although you have 180 seconds, this will only appear as 80.00. If the cell format is [sss].oo you will get 180.00 Took me an age to figure out without the use of muliplication! Gadzooks. Over and out! Microsoft Word – check!Sunday, March 8th, 2009This might be common knowledge, bu-ut as it took me hours (read as “15 long minutes”) to figure it out, I thought I’d share the wealth!! In order to insert a tick into your word document, you need to go to Insert -> Symbol and then change the font to any variation of wingdings, and find yourself a tick! Obvious now, but wasn’t when I desperately needed one. Sigh. Over and out. |
